A cut above ordinary metal planters, these eye-catching, Australian-made Birdies raised beds are constructed from Aluzinc powder-coated steel sheeting: it’s extremely hard wearing and lasts up to 6 times longer than regular galvanized steel. Assemble it into 1 of 9 possible configurations: form a simple square bed; create a long, narrow bed to give you some separation from a neighbor; or go with another rectangular option that’s customized to your particular space. Suitable for all types of vegetables, herbs and flowers, and its height eliminates bending and stooping. Use as a stand-alone raised bed, or arrange in multiples to create a unified aesthetic. Rolled steel edges come with a clip-on safety strip for the top edge.

Tip: If you don’t need the full 29″ planting depth, but want to take advantage of this planter’s height, use a base-layer of brush or leaves to reduce the amount of soil you need to fill this planter.
